Course #3: Miracles

Hole 6: Water from The Rock

This hole was a little tricky in regards to going for the Hole-in-one! With the 3 bumps, it is difficult to have a shot right at the hole. With the rocks at the back not having a smooth cut, the bank shot off of them is unpredictable. Instead you can bank off the wood and go in between the bumps. However, the margin for error is slim. A straight on shot is usually flawed in this situation because of the psychology that more power is needed to get the ball over the bump and your ball then overshoots the hole and wildly banks off the rocks. One last approach is to use the curves on either the left or right to curve into the hole. This approach may be the hardest of them all since the bumps are rather low (bumps none the less) and the curve effect has very minimal surface to work with.

Hole 6 Reading:

“As the Israelites traveled to where the Lord told them to go next, they were thirsty, and tested the Lord. Moses struck the rock at Horeb and water came out. Again, the Lord was faithful!”

Exodus 17: 1-7
