Course #3: Miracles

Hole 13: Daniel in the Lion’s Den

The hole was in somewhat a blind location of the tee. A curved hole with a slight change in elevation made this one a bit tricky. You need to hit off the wood wall that is built with many small planks of wood so it can be a challenge to judge where it will go and bounce towards a narrow path between two lion statues. This has to be done while avoiding a lion statue in the middle of the green that impacts your initial shot off the tee. A more challenging way is to bank off the front of the lion in the middle and roll down towards the hole. This hole was a pretty good design with a variety of options for this course.

Hole 13 Reading:

“To rest the faithfulness of God through Daniel, the administration (government) asked the King to enforce a decree, that someone who prays to another god but the king shall be thrown into the lion’s den. Daniel, who prayed to the living God was thrown in the den. Upon trusting God, an angel shut the mouths of the lions!”

Daniel 6: 1-22
