Gatlinburg, Tennessee
Course 1: Hole 1
Typically I don’t really like black light/glow courses because they seem to follow a cookie cutter pattern of the same design. At Gatlin’s Golf this course was an exception. It had great design and unique holes to play.
This first hole had a turtle obstacle that I can only assume was put in 90 degrees the wrong way since it would make sense that the turtle would face the player at the tee box. The hole was on the left side and given a coat of luminescent orange to make it easy to spot. Now you could wrap around from right of the turtle and wind up close to the hole but to really sink it for putt number 1 you have to hit that narrow gap to the left and bank it off the wall.
