On the Fringe Mini Golf: Hole 16
This hole was my favorite on this course. It was a challenging skill shot that was a make it or break it on the scorecard. The hole in front on the slope was the best option since it’s opening aligned with the hole and had a fairly good chance of being a hole-in-one but the hard part is that it was directly on the slope. Too light of a putt and you are going back to start and out-of-bounds. Just a little too hard and it is likely the ball falls into the second hole that was slightly cupped to the aid of the player with poor placement behind a rock but at least down below. If I designed this hole, I’d put a catch trough about 3 feet up the slope with the placement being in a ditch on the lower green. This would help a lot of players not max out on strokes on this hole.
