Settlers Mill Adventure Golf – Hole 2
Minocqua, Wisconsin
The second hole of the Settlers Mill Adventure Golf course is long and full of obstacles making for a tough putt. An old fashioned water tower sits above this hole with its support legs acting like a minefield of obstacles. The hole is past it and slight right. There is angled wall to bank off of and a rock and rough combo in the opposite corner and behind the cup as well.
Mister Mini Golf Pro Tips
Avoid the posts as there are a lot and easy to hit leaving for difficult putts after the first. Bank off of the angled bricks.
ADA Accessibility Notes: This course is not accessible. There are many impassible obstacles and paths that are difficult to traverse for able bodied individuals let alone those in need of ADA accommodations. As an older course this makes sense. It was grandfathered in to remain the same. Usually adjusting for ADA can be expensive and change the integrity of the course. Many of these designs wouldn’t work as well if they had to adjust for ADA compliance.
For more details on course accessibility, always check in with a course you are visiting as they may be able to do additional accommodations. In addition, a great resource is the ADA Checklist for Miniature Golf Courses.
