Settlers Mill Adventure Golf – Hole 6

Minocqua, Wisconsin

The sixth hole of the Settlers Mill Adventure Golf course is a curved hole to the left. The cup is aligned with the bump on the left edge. Three boulders sit behind the cup in a row acting as backboards and obstacles.

Overshooting on this one can leave for a difficult 2nd shot as it is easy to get stuck behind the rocks.

ADA Accessibility Notes: This course is not accessible. There are many impassible obstacles and paths that are difficult to traverse for able bodied individuals let alone those in need of ADA accommodations. As an older course this makes sense. It was grandfathered in to remain the same. Usually adjusting for ADA can be expensive and change the integrity of the course. Many of these designs wouldn’t work as well if they had to adjust for ADA compliance.
