Crystal Lake, Illinois

Holey Moley: America’s Favorite Mini Golfer

The Lippold Family Golf Center has two courses the Crystal Shores course which is ADA compliant and the Butterfly Falls course which is not.

This is the sixth hole of the Crystal Shores course at the Lippold Family Golf Center. Hole 6 is a slight wraparound to the left. The left inside edge is exposed to the water hazard and sloped slight towards the water making a hazard that pulls the ball in. Otherwise there is a bunker behind the hole.

Mister Mini Golf Pro Tips

Hug right and it will pull back towards the hole. You really just want to avoid the left side as much as you can!

ADA Accessibility Notes: Lippold Family Golf Center has two mini golf courses one that is ADA compliant and the other that is not.

For more details on course accessibility, always check in with a course you are visiting as they may be able to do additional accommodations. In addition, a great resource is the ADA Checklist for Miniature Golf Courses.
