Par-King Skill Golf: Black Course – Hole 10

Lincolnshire, Illinois

Black Course: Hole 10

Personally, I love this hole! Either Hole is legal on the spinning platform, it is all about a smooth putt and timing. Even if you miss the hole as it is closest to you, you may have a chance at getting the one behind it. This hole is easier to get a hole-in-one on than it appears.

Red Course: Hole 10

It comes at no surprise that on the hole with the clock that timing is everything. Beneath the clock is a barrier that rises and lowers. Getting through the clock with the barrier up allows you to hit a wedge that lines you up with hole. If you hit the the barrier, the ball shoots out to the side. This can actually work okay but most likely ends up as a long second shot.

Hole 10

Over a narrow bridge to start off the hole. You have to be careful and cautious of several openings throughout the hole that can cause some penalty strokes with out-of-bounds. With a smooth powerful stroke it could be possible for a hole-in-one. I’d have to play it again to find the right angles.

America’s Action Territory Course 3: Hole 10

Kenosha, Wisconsin

Course 3: Hole 10

A three level mini golf hole. A excellent shot from the beginning is highly rewarded as those who make it in the center hole, bypass level 2 and go right level 3. Otherwise it is always important move down to the next level each shot. Either side is fine because there is always a second hole on each level. You can tell there is some age on this hole because the PVC pipes are wearing down thus having the ball sometimes get stuck! This is a major no-no for Mini Golf! How the ball moves out of the pipe has many factors so even if you make the shot, a whole lot of things can happen to your ball.

America’s Action Territory Course 2: Hole 10

Kenosha, Wisconsin

Course 2: Hole 10

Unfortunately, this hole’s tee area was soaked from the well on the previous hole because it dripped water right above. That is a design flaw that severely impacts the game and should be adjusted by owners to improve the experience. Any way this is an uphill shot that only the straightest of straight shots can ace through the spokes. Although you can go around, it is most fun and impressive to nail it through the spokes. Don’t feel too bad if you don’t make it, even the best players would have trouble with this shot.

If you decide to go around, bank from right to left because there is a patch of rough on the left side. Do note that the accessibility entrance is on the left side and the ball could bounce out with a over powered shot. Also be careful not to roll back towards the incline or your ball will roll back and count as an out-of-bounds shot.

Kind of an interesting hole since normally you want to hit the tougher shot but in this instance, it’s best to go around as you will have the best chance of getting close to the hole. There isn’t much speed or angle on the hole if you hit the ball to go between the rocks.

Hillbilly Mini Golf Course 1: Hole 10

Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Course 1- Hole 10: Par 2

Another piece of farm equipment adorns a hole. This one is a bit more challenging as you have to hit between the pieces hanging down and then get the bank shot to land in the cup. A laser focused shot with finesse is certainly needed.

Mulligan’s Hole 10

Racine, Wisconsin

Hole 10: Par 2

A classic hole at many courses. A fork with a sloped, curved path for one direction and flat path that one needs to bank off of in order to redirect the ball towards the hole in another direction. I, for one, enjoy playing the slope on a hole like this. However, be cautious that the top of the slope is open rock and rough patches so the ball may go out-of-bounds with a strong stroke. Essentially let the slope do the work and success will be at hand.

Lexington Ice Center Course 3: Hole 10

Lexington, Kentucky

Course #3: Miracles

Hole 10: The Pillar of Cloud and Fire

Just a straight shot of a very worn out green. It is somewhat spacious so a miss can be somewhat of a hard 2. This hole was one of the simplest on the whole course. I wonder if something was here but was removed.

Hole 10 Reading:

“As the Israelites were being exiled from Egypt to Canaan, the Lord provided a pillar of cloud to guide them by day, and a pillar of fire for light in the evening.”

Exodus 13: 20-22

Lexington Ice Center Course 2: Hole 10

Lexington, Kentucky

Course #2: New Testament

Hole 10: Feed My Sheep

Quite a long hole for a bank shot! If you hit too hard it definitely will come all the back to you so the secret is to find the sweet spot where it lightly banks. I ended up about a foot away from the hole on a blind shot! Not bad at all.

Hole 10 Reading:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16

Course #1: Old Testament

Hole 10: A Promise

A rather simple hole that just follows the curve of the rainbow. Shouldn’t have a problem getting the 2. Bank off the wall and you’ll be heading towards the hole.

Hole 10 Reading:

“God made a covenant with Noah and his sons after the flood. He sent a rainbow and promised never again would He flood the earth to destroy all life.”

Genesis 9: 8-17
