Par-King Skill Golf: Black Course – Hole 12

Lincolnshire, Illinois

Black Course: Hole 12

This hole sort of creeps me out mainly because it looks like the clown hole from Happy Gilmore. Luckily this one won’t spit the ball back at you. The head rocking from side to side is what determines the direction and path the ball will take. The right side takes you closest to the hole while the left side has you end up pretty far away and you have to take in account a slight elevation change.

Red Course: Hole 12

The soldiers stand at attention as you prepare your putt. An obstacle moves underneath, cleverly deflecting your ball away from the hole so timing is everything. Controlling your ball speed is important to knowing when to hit because you might have the timing down but forget to account for the travel of the ball.

Helman’s Hole 12

Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Hole 12

Oh deer what a challenging hole! Two pipes lead to the other half of the green but making it through is not an easy feat. A miss can mean a tremendous rebound off of the brick or even out-of-bounds. Once you make it through, it can still end up out-of-bounds or end up in the pool. With any luck, you can bank of the brick outcropping and towards the hole.

America’s Action Territory Course 3: Hole 12

Kenosha, Wisconsin

Course 3: Hole 12

Quite the fun and cute hole but a little dangerous with all of the traps! It drives me a little crazy that it isn’t symmetrical but I suppose it gives it some character. The hole is on the back left so stick to the left side. There are a lot of areas where the ball can go out-of-bounds in the middle garden. The back right does have a patch of rough to slow down a wild ball and a few rocks are near the hole that offer some bounce back protection. All-in-all, hug the left side and you should be good.

America’s Action Territory Course 2: Hole 12

Kenosha, Wisconsin

Course 2: Hole 12

A clever design but one that needs a little more refinement as it has some playability issues. A steep slope is the path off of the tee and a hard enough shot goes down the rails to the hole. Hole-in-ones are possible with some luck on the rails. It’s very easy to fly out-of-bounds at the top and the ball can get stuck in the valley to the rails if there isn’t enough speed. If the rails were made to look a little nicer, this would be a great idea otherwise it looks somewhat incomplete.

America’s Action Territory Course 1: Hole 12

Kenosha, Wisconsin

Course 1: Hole 12

Pretty much a straight shot on this one with some slight elevation changes. Of course the rocks are to be avoided but the area to hit through is a fair amount of space so that shouldn’t be a problem. A shot hit a little too hard does have a slope backdrop so a rebound is also quite possible if the angle of the shot is right.

Hillbilly Mini Golf Course 1: Hole 12

Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Course 1- Hole 12: Par 3

Hit under the outhouse and bank off the back wall to make a 1 or 2. There is a slight dip down to where the hole is but you just have to worry about speed and hitting the right angles. I’m not entirely sure why this hole is a par 3 when number 2 is so much funnier!

Lexington Ice Center Course 3: Hole 12

Lexington, Kentucky

Course #3: Miracles

Hole 12: The Rocks Rent

Two options on this hole. Straight through the rocks or play the curve. It seems the best option is to go straight through the rocks. This hole is very similar to this one from Fondy Sports Park.

Hole 12 Reading:

“As Jesus had commended His spirit unto the Father, the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth shook and the rocks split. The Centurion and guards witnessed this and they exclaimed that ‘Surely he was the son of God.'”

Matthew 27: 50-52…54

Lexington Ice Center Course 2: Hole 12

Lexington, Kentucky

Course #2: New Testament

Hole 12: ALL THINGS are POSSIBLE (Follow Me)

Another mix up with signage and readings on this one. The hole itself is a classic risk/reward hole. A narrow path leads straight to the hole but with a lot of risk of a miss and then a bounce back. The less risky path is to bank off the right or left side and hope you have the angle to sink the ball into the cup. These holes are always challenging yet a lot of fun.

Hole 12 Reading:

“The first disciples Jesus called were 2 fishermen Simon (called Peter) and his brother Andrew. They were casting their nets into the lake when Jesus said, ‘Come follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.'”

Matthew 4: 8-10

Course #1: Old Testament

Hole 12: Pharoahs Frogs

Pretty much a long straight shot on this one. Do note that the hole is slightly to right and that over compensation will result in a frog hit and your score to croak. A smooth, straight stroke is all you need.

Hole 12 Reading:

“God sent a plague of frogs throughout the whole country. They were in their homes and kneading troughs and ovens. Pharaoh asked Moses to stop the plague and he would let the people offer sacrifices to the Lord. The Lord honored Moses’ prayer, but Pharaoh’s heart was still hardened. ”

Exodus 8: 1-10 (Do note that the verse was misrepresented in two places on this hole, the hole sign and the verse sign. What I have here is more reflective of the verse that was used but verses may vary on version of bible used)

Mini Golf Reviews Presents Fondy Sports Park Hole 12

Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin

Hole 12: Corner Pocket (Par 3)

Two bumps on this hole which isn’t anything too crazy however the hole placement makes this one difficult. It is sloped up on the corner. It was easy to see why this one was a par 3. One shot to get close, one shot to understand the lay of the land on the slope, and the last one to go in.
