Settlers Mill Adventure Golf – Hole 3

Minocqua, Wisconsin

The third hole of the Settlers Mill Adventure Golf course is a pretty neat design. You start on the right tee area and try to get it in a raised log that sends it right at the hole. If you miss it mostly like ends in the water heading down a grate towards a secondary tee spot with a patch of rough and a post. You can then try to hit through a beaver hut or go around to the hole surrounded by rock posts.

Take a smooth solid strike at the log for if you miss, you may still pop over the creek and head towards the hole on stroke one.

ADA Accessibility Notes: This course is not accessible. There are many impassible obstacles and paths that are difficult to traverse for able bodied individuals let alone those in need of ADA accommodations. As an older course this makes sense. It was grandfathered in to remain the same. Usually adjusting for ADA can be expensive and change the integrity of the course. Many of these designs wouldn’t work as well if they had to adjust for ADA compliance.
